Vaccinations Required to be groomed:
- Rabies
- Parvo (DHPP or DA2PP)
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
What these Vaccinations are for and why we require them to be able to be groomed:
- Rabies- Rabies vaccination is a by state law for any residential pet in any situation. Which means by law we have to require it for you to be able to bring your pet for a groom.
- Parvo- Also listed on your vaccine records as DHPP or DA2PP is to protect against canine distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. All puppies should've received this in sessions of 3.
- Bordetella- Also known as Kennel cough is used to protect dogs from an upper respiratory infection, which almost all grooming salons, daycare facilities and boarding facilities require due to its main cause of spread is through contact to other dogs. This vaccination helps prevent that cause and lets dogs be around each other without that risk.
